Patricia Anne Woodard

Patricia Anne Woodard, 67 of Bloomington, formerly of Lincoln passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at 10:40 AM at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. There will be a funeral service for Patricia on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 12 Noon at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington. Pastor Nicki Green will officiate. There will be a visitation from 10-12 Saturday at the Memorial Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington.

Patricia was born September 3, 1949 in Decatur to Leigh and Rena McAfee Berry. She married Thomas Woodard June 3, 1967 in Mt. Pulaski. He survives. She is also survived by her mother, Rena Berry of Mt. Pulaski, two children, Thom (Beth) Woodard of Bloomington and Cherrilyn Sutton of Bloomington, four grandchildren, Caitlyn Sutton, Gabi Woodard, Isa Woodard and Amy Overbey and one brother Mike Berry of Mt. Pulaski. She was preceded in death by her father and one grandson George Woodard. She was a member of Eastview Christian Church in Normal and a former member of Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln. Patricia loved gardening and looked forward to spring every year when the flowers would begin to grow. For many years she worked day care in Lincoln and had many families she watched over multiple generations. She also worked ten years at State Farm Insurance as a Caterer. She retired in 2012. She also loved volunteering her time at the David Davis Mansion and working Craft shows with her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to David Davis Mansion.
